2021 Virtual Case Study Competition (VCS)

"Omnia Pro Patria"

Congratulations to the University of Nevada, Reno for earning first place in this year's Virtual Case Study Competition. The team of Shannon Karbowski (Team Leader), Nathan Ochocinski, and Suzanne Turner won the title. We had a record 100 team registrations, with 72 final projects submitted from 48 different schools. Each member of the winning team received a check for $200.

In second place was a team from the University of Florida led by Lauren Hughes with members Elaine Rivera, Karley Taylor, and Amy Wyer. Each won $150. Third place went to Sarah Langguth's University of Pittsburgh team with teammates Glen Edward, Emily Hayhurst, and Hayley Landers. Each won $100.

Thank you to every student who took part in this year's contest and to the staff advisors who helped coordinate their efforts.

This year's scenario dealt with creating a meaningful and absorbing virtual program that stresses social engagement utilizing both a PDF presentation and a short video. READ MORE...
