Saint Mary's College seeks to hire a per-course adjunct faculty member to teach History 121, US History to 1877, in the undergraduate program in Fall 2024.

 

This course will be taught in person, on campus.

 

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:30-3:10pm

 

A chronological survey of American history from European colonization to the Civil War, with an emphasis on racial, ethnic, class and gender relations, immigration and migration, the rise and impact of social movements, and the relationship between North America and the world.

 

Qualifications:

 

The candidate must have a PhD in History and be versed in US History. Minimum of five years teaching experience.

 

Candidates must live in California.

 

The salary is $9,929 - $13,744 depending on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available
