Qualifications:

 

Human Development examines the major theories of and influences on human development from conception through death, including the biological, cognitive, emotional, social and cultural dimensions of development. This is a 4 unit undergraduate course.

 

This course will be taught in person on the Moraga campus during the 2024 Fall term on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 - 9:05 am.

 

In addition to teaching, the instructor is expected to hold regular office hours (a minimum of one hour per week) in order to provide students with support outside of the classroom.

 

The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in Psychology, and undergraduate teaching experience in Developmental Psychology or a closely related field. Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to those who have previously taught the course or Psych 140.

 

This position requires all coursework to be performed in the state of California.

 

The salary range for this position is $9,932 - $13,344 (4 units) and is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iMq54hZVvyJovI2FtEnCVQKpNqW7J8ed/view?usp=share_link.
