Qualifications:

 

ACCTG 607.01, (Formerly ACCTG 209), Federal Income Taxation of Business Entities

 

Summer Term, 07/10/2023 – 09/16/2023. In-Person Saturdays on SMC campus: 7/13, 7/27, 8/10, 8/24, 9/7, 9/14, 8:30am - 12:30pm. Meets Online Mondays: 7/15 - 9/9 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

 

Course Description:

 

This course examines the concepts and laws related to federal taxation of partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and tax-exempt organizations. It is also designed to give students the tools and techniques to identify, understand, and evaluate tax planning opportunities. Oral and written communication skills are emphasized.

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of accounting discipline.

 

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

 

The salary range for this position is $7,447 -$10,308 dependent on qualifications.
