Per course adjunct faculty for the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership, EDAD 914-01.

Qualifications:

 

EDAD 914 Dissertation Proposal (3)

 

Meeting dates: Saturdays Only - April 6, 20 May 4

 

This course builds on assignments completed in previous research-based courses within the curriculum. Using the Ed.D. Proposal Template, doctoral candidates will draft chapters one (Introduction), two (Literature Review), and three (Methods) of their dissertation proposal. Students will also become familiar with the Dissertation Proposal Hearing requirements, process, and timeline. During the course, Individual Chairs will consult on their mentees’ progress, using electronic communication to facilitate group discussion and learning. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in peer review of the proposal and discussion of successful writing strategies for the completion of the dissertation.

 

Required Qualifications

 

Candidates must have a master’s degree or doctorate in education, educational leadership, teaching leadership, or a related field. Candidates must also have experience teaching at the higher education level.
