The Internal Communications Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing to implement strategies that engage a variety of audiences across campus. This individual will be responsible for ensuring consistent, timely communications across campus to inform, engage and support current employees and students. The work will be focused on communications that engage and inform employees and build the brand of the university. The position is involved with a wide range of projects including various forms of written communication, marketing collateral design, developing newsletters, executing creative internal communication campaigns, and leveraging email platforms. This position is funded as part of a SUNY initiative for two years with the possibility of further renewals. The Strategic Communications & Marketing team at SUNY Plattsburgh is the campus hub for communications, media relations, social media, digital engagement, graphic design and brand standards. Our work supports the Plattsburgh Next strategic plan as it aligns with the college’s identity, mission, and vision.
