Job Description:

The Women's Lacrosse Club Coach is responsible for developing and supporting the Women's Lacrosse Club program and work with students of different levels of expertise. This position will teach, coach, train and motivate student-athletes to perform at the highest level through organized team and individual sessions.

Job duties specific to this position:

  • Conduct safe and organized practice sessions/classes and game play oversite that will enable club members to develop and improve their skills
  • Coordinating and supervising all games, practices, off season programs and scheduling
  • Scouting and recruiting prospective student-athletes
  • Ensure that the program complies with all College, Club Sport, Governing Body and Recreational Athletics rules and regulations.
  • Organizes and administers all pre-season, in-season, and post-season activities necessary for team success
  • Foster an environment within the Club program that supports the department mission of personal growth and integrity, diversity, leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to athletic and academic excellence.
  • Monitoring team expenses and budgets
  • Other duties as assigned by the College

  • Performs a variety of related duties as assigned.

Pay: :$2,500 Stipend

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Women's Lacrosse and/or equivalent related experiences.
  • Knowledge of league rules and requirements as they pertain to the club sport.
  • The successful candidate will be required to be First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
  • Understanding of budget issues and funds management
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills needed.
