The Department of Public Health at SUNY Old Westbury regularly seeks to hire Adjunct Instructors to teach courses as needed in the department. 

We are seeking applicants who can teach the following courses.  Most courses are upper division undergraduate courses.  Most courses are taught in-person and on campus.

• Introduction to Public Health
• Introduction to the Social Determinants of Health
• Introduction to the US Healthcare System
• Biostatistics
• Epidemiology
• Field Placement
• Senior Research Seminar

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master's degree in public health or a complimentary field (e.g., health administration, anthropology, social work, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the college level.
• Upper division teaching experience at the college level.
• Experience teaching a diverse student population.
