Beatrice, NE United StatesUnder the general direction and supervision of the Office of Work-Based Learning’s Apprenticeship Director, the Administrative Assistant I provides support to the Office of Work-Based Learning and, in particular, to the documentation, recordkeeping, and communications related to Office of Work-Based Learning Grants. The Administrative Assistant will work from the Beatrice Campus. This is a part-time, temporary grant-funded position with funding availability through June 30, 2026.
Essential Functions
- Update and maintain grant spreadsheets, documentation, and records.
- Enter and maintain electronic data.
- Maintain confidentiality and strict adherence to FERPA regulations regarding student records and information.
- Maintain timely communication with grant participants.
- Assist with report preparation.
- Assist with marketing activities and event coordination.
- Coordinate data collection from internal departments.
- Support and demonstrate Office of Work-Based Learning core values: Visionary, Results-Oriented, Learner-Centered, Labor Market Driven, Servant Leaders.
- Other duties as assigned in support of grant objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative/clerical experience or one (1) year of office experience plus one (1) year of related formal training.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Salary
$16.70 per hour
Benefits
Part-time temporary employees are eligible to participate in the TIAA retirement plan through a Roth, SRA, or 457(B) account, with no match provided by the College.
Schedule
Normal hours of work for this part-time temporary position are scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on a 29-hour workweek. Scheduled special activities, emergencies, or temporary schedule changes may require hours outside of the regular workday or workweek. This position is on the Beatrice Campus.
