This unique position combines expertise in career counseling, employer relations, curriculum integration and faculty collaboration. The successful candidate is expected to develop strong partnerships with members of the Career Development Center (CDC) team, instructional faculty, supervisory staff and employers/agencies who sponsor applied learning opportunities. Key responsibilities include outreach to potential employers, generating internship interest among students, and helping increase access to, and support for, applied learning experiences. The CDC works to educate and empower students toward meaningful careers and life-long professional success, engaging the campus, alumni, and employer communities as our partners. We are a part of the Enrollment and Student Success division which supports a student’s entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success. Collectively, the division of Enrollment and Student Success positively influences the health, safety and well-being of the student body.
