This full-time, 12-month, position oversees the Arts & Sciences internship program and reports to the Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, identifying, developing, marketing, monitoring, and connecting students with opportunities. Growing and sustaining internship opportunities with the goal of improving the quality of our internships and number of participants (sites and students) is also expected. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with industry partners, faculty, staff, and students. Other notable duties include collaboration with faculty about appropriate internships for various disciplines and keeping records of internships for reporting purposes. The School of Arts & Sciences is actively engaged in the scholarship of discovery, integration, application and teaching and provides vital service to the campus, community and discipline. With more than 50 different degree programs, most of the courses that make up the university’s general education program fall under arts and science.
