Fairfield, MD United StatesMount St. Mary’s seeks a full-time Associate or Assistant Registrar to aid in the general functions of the registrar’s office.
The registrar is responsible for maintaining student records, overseeing graduation requirements, providing support to academics, and helping students navigate the process of registration and enrollment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The registrar will have the primary responsibility for
- Course scheduling
- Room assignments
- Waitlist processing,
- Management of advising and registration roles.
- Supporting faculty with grade entry and roster verification
- Communicating with HR concerning faculty stipends.
- Managing Pre-Requisites
- Managing faculty information.
- Articulation Agreements
- Monitoring data compliance checks.
- Liaising with department chairs and program directors.
- Performing registration audits
- Managing registration clearance.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
Skills:
Registrar duties require attention to detail, the ability to learn and master various technologies, and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work well with many constituencies on campus.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree. Experience in higher education administration or records management desired.
