During examination week students must leave 24 hours after their last examination, or on the last day of examination week, if they have an examination that day. Follow these procedures if you will be out of your room for any extended period (vacations, long weekends, etc.):

• Take all valuables home with you when residential areas are closed. (TVs, stereos, VCRs, etc.)
• Lock all windows and pull down shades.
• Shut off lights.
• Unplug electrical cords from outlets.
• Remove perishable items from refrigerator.
• Remove all trash.
• Take plants and aquariums home for safe keeping. There will not be heat in the residence halls.
• Do not pack your car until you are prepared to leave the campus.
