OVERVIEW:

Many of us do not realize the number of homeless and food insecure students on our campuses. One of the recent ideas to assist students holistically is to be aware of the obstacles that interfere with their retention and progress to graduation. Food insecurity is a large problem and continues to grow. This webinar will help attendees examine ways on their campus to build a food pantry to assist food insecure students.

SPEAKER:

Dr. Maureen "Moe" McGuinness is the Dean of Students/ Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of North Texas in Denton, Tx. Dr. Moe has been in Student Affairs for 22 years in a myriad of areas. She currently oversees Student Conduct, Student Withdrawals, Survivor Advocacy, Clery, Student Legal, Substance Abuse Resource Center, and Greek Life. She is also a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
