This course integrates the theory and practice of auditing. Special emphasis is given to current issues facing the profession. Includes coverage of professional standards, ethics, evaluation of internal control, consideration of risk, gathering of audit evidence, sampling, consideration of fraud factors, EDP auditing, liability issues, and overview of other assurance service.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Accounting discipline. Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iMq54hZVvyJovI2FtEnCVQKpNqW7J8ed/view
