Assistant Coach, Lightweight Women’s Crew

ASSISTANT COACH, LIGHTWEIGHT WOMEN’S CREWAthletics, Physical Education, and Recreation (DAPER)-Intercollegiate Sports, to assist the head coach of lightweight women’s crew with all aspects of conducting a successful crew program, including recruiting, administration, weekly practice sessions, budget management, alumni stewardship, scheduling of competitions and team travel, counseling students, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations.  All activities will be conducted under the overall supervision of the director of rowing.

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree; five years of rowing and/or coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level; and administrative, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. Appropriate certifications in first aid, CPR, AED, and biohazards are required within a to-be-determined period of time after hire.  PREFERRED:  proven experience recruiting to a highly selective institution is desirable.  Job #22764

This is a full-time (ten-month appointment), benefits-eligible position.
