About The Position: The Enrollment and Student Success division supports a student’s entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success. Collectively, the division of Enrollment and Student Success positively influences the health, safety and well-being of the student body. The Cardinal Achievement Program (CAP) is designed to help our students succeed and ease the transition from high school to college. As an Academic Success Coach, the successful candidate will help students with a variety of topics including academic progress, course advisement, financial literacy, time management, study skills and test taking strategies, among others. Specific responsibilities are expected to include, but are not limited to, the assessment of academic progress of individuals within CAP; advising and counseling selected participants regarding academic, financial aid, career, and personal topics in group and/or individual sessions; planning and supervising educational sessions; teaching Career and Life Planning (CLP 101); and working with other offices to provide advocacy and other services to program students.
