Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for an Accounts Payable and P-card Coordinator. The Accounts Payable and P-card Coordinator ensures accurate and timely payment for state purchases of goods and services to vendors through the SUNY voucher, Statewide Financial System, and Jaggaer eProcurement system. Payments shall be made in accordance with State University procedures, State Finance Law and State Comptroller's Office regulations. As the Procurement Card Administrator for the campus, employee is responsible for ensuring campus compliance with state and SUNY purchasing rules and regulations including training of campus personnel, management of paperwork, analyze future users and recommend for the p-card, audits of transactions, and general support/coordination.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.


  • Two years of experience in accounts payable, auditing, and vendor relationships.


  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment and strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to work effectively with students, public, college community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for cultural and group differences.


  • Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals.


  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).


  • Strong attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Higher Education experience.


  • Supervisory experience.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
