Do you like to apply your IT skills to solve problems? The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) at the University of Notre Dame seeks an Application Development Professional to understand our campus partners' opportunities/challenges and design/create/implement IT solutions to address those needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our campus partners to analyze business objectives, facilitate business requirements definition and recommend/implement business processes/technical solutions that provide the best return on investment to the organization. This Application Development Professional position will be part of the Student Solutions team, which provides IT solutions and support for administrative units on campus that support our students (Registrar, Student Affairs, Student Accounts, Admissions, Financial Aid, etc.). Minimum Qualifications:


We are looking for an amazing person with:


• Experience evaluating, developing and implementing IT solutions

• Experience designing and developing integrations to transfer data between various systems

• Great attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to learn and use new technology tools


Preferred Qualifications:


Valued skills and experiences may also include:


• Either an associate’s/bachelor’s degree or experience as an application developer

• Experience providing technical support for a variety of applications to address issues from end-users

• Proficiency in use of integration (API) development technologies (PL/SQL, Ruby, Talend, etc.)
