ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Registrar’s Office-Curriculum and Faculty Support (CFS), to perform complex and diverse office duties in support of a number of current and developing educational activities including those related to the Committee on the Undergraduate Program and its subcommittees. Will also provide administrative and logistical support for two curricular development grants--the d’Arbeloff Fund for Excellence in Education and the Alumni Class Funds.  Specific responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, taking notes at meetings, maintaining content on websites, and responding to inquiries. 

REQUIRED:  a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of administrative, office, or related experience; excellent organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituency groups including alumni, students, faculty, and staff; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; good judgment with sensitive and confidential information; ability to work on concurrent projects despite interruptions, anticipate needs, and set priorities while meeting deadlines; ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team; and computer proficiency and comfort learning new systems and software.  PREFERRED:  a bachelor’s degree, knowledge of undergraduate education, MIT experience, and experience taking and composing meeting minutes.  Job #20635-5
