Wheaton College, a leading liberal arts college located in Norton, Massachusetts, has an immediate opening for a Coordinator to directly impact and contribute to our student-athletes' successes!

This is a full-time, benefits eligible, one academic year internship position grant funded through the NCAA Division III Internship program. Providing a competitive salary, professional development, and On-campus housing may also be available depending on needs and availability.

Job Summary/Basic Function:           

The Coordinator for Student-Athlete Success, Inclusion and Leadership will work to administer all aspects of leadership and personal development education and training to support Wheaton College student-athletes achieve the highest levels of academic, athletic and personal growth. This position will help implement our AllWheAre campaign, which focuses on four key areas of the Wheaton student-athlete experience; Character, Performance, Involvement and Self-Care, in addition to serving as a liaison to applicable governing bodies for reports, grants, programs and awards as needed.

This position will serve as a collaborative partner and liaison to other offices within the student affairs division (Residential Life, Social Justice and Community Impact, Counseling and Health Services, Title IX Compliance and Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership), in addition to our contacts in Academic Advising, Accessibility Services, Career Services, Global Education and the Marshall Center for Intercultural Learning. The Coordinator for Student-Athlete Success, Diversity and Leadership will serve on the Wheaton athletics administrative staff, attending all relevant student affairs leadership team meetings, all NEWMAC and NCAA meetings and serve in an administrative capacity for home varsity athletic events.3
