The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA), a campus of the University of Arkansas System, invites applications from highly qualified candidates for a twelve-month, full-time opening as Assistant Dean of Residential Life beginning no later than July 1, 2019.  This is a live-in position responsible for the daily operational needs of the Residential Life Program.

Qualifications include a minimum of a Master’s degree in higher education administration, college student personnel or a related field plus at least two years’ full time, post-Master’s experience is preferred.  Experience with administrative oversight, budgeting, cultivating interpersonal relationships, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.  Familiarity with residential STEM schools or gifted and talented student populations is considered an asset.  The position includes board in a one-bedroom apartment with kitchenette year round, and meals when school is in session.  The primary work schedule is evenings (2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.) and will include weekend shifts on occasion.
