Job Description
The Coordinator of Academic Support Services position provides direction and support in collaboration with the center’s leadership for the overall coaching component of the Knight Student Success Center (KSSC). This position is responsible for working collaboratively with the KSSC and College Academic Advising Offices with the overall academic support and coaching components in supporting retention and graduation initiatives. Works closely with new FTIC and Transfer students in the successful transition into the University setting.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Provides academic support and coaching for FTIC, Transfer and major exploration students.

In collaboration with the Knight Student Success Center Leadership Team (KSSC), develop strategies to support professional development in the areas of coaching and student academic support.

Effective communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work with a diverse population and a dynamic staff in a fast-paced environment
