About Our Artists:

Lisa Merklin
has been drawing weekly editorial cartoons for The Post, Ohio University's student-run paper, since March 2007. Her cartoons feature content that is relevant to the university and to the community in Athens, Ohio.

John Oquist
was a senior at the University of Michigan this past academic year and was a cartoonist and illustrator for the Michigan Daily, the campus newspaper.

Ariela Steif
is an art history major at the University of Michigan. She is a cartoonist for the school paper and paints. She hopes to pursue a career in art or editorial cartooning.

Jian Ping Zhou
is wasting away her time and ambitions at college, finding a decent distraction as Graphics Editor of the University of Victoria school paper, the Martlet. She enjoys drawing for fun and profit.
