About Our Artists:
Grant Snider is a chemical engineering major and pre-dental student.
"All the required science, math and engineering courses take their toll on the left hemisphere of my brain." Grant draws editorial cartoons for his student newspaper, The Kansan, to keep his right brain occupied, especially during lectures.
Adam Fotos ha been doing "Dragon and Goat" for the past four years, having begun the daily strip at the University of Tennessee.
After graduating with a BFA in painting, Dragon, Goat, and then went to China where the strip appeared bi-monthly in a Chinese newspaper, the Shenzhen Daily. The series continues now at the University of
Illinois Urbana Champaign, while he paints and teaches painting as a grad student.
Paul Brown loves animation. He hopes that some day he will be able to start up his own successful animation company.
"So far, I am a self-taught artist and I can't wait till I get these Gen-Eds out of the way so that I
can actually get into my major." Paul's favorite artist is LeSean Thomas who is a big inspiration to him.
Joey Mascola is currently on route to becoming an engineer, but admits that him will always rely on some form of creativity.
"The best way to live is to laugh at everything, so what better way than to make fun of stuff through a comic strip?"
