About Our Artists:
was born and raised in south Texas as the first member of his family born in the United States.
He hopes to pursue graduate studies in the field of computer graphics after graduating from Baylor University.
Rodrigo enjoys drawing, computers, film production, running, and weight lifting.
is currently studying Film and Video at Grand Valley State
University, hoping to pursue an animation career. She loves watching and creating cartoons.
"It's a great feeling of accomplishment seeing the finished product after all the hard work."
, a student at the University of Utah, has risen to the position of Cartoon Editor at the Utah Daily Chronicle.
He is now their full-time editorial cartoonist and runs a staff of six wildly creative and talented artists that help him
fill their new comic section every Wednesday.
"I get my inspiration by sleeping on my back and eating a balanced diet consisting of ice cream and cold oatmeal."
Conor Geoghegan draws comics and illustrations for the University of Calgary and the Mt. Royal College school
newspapers. Last year he "fluked out" and won the ACP Cartooning Award for Best Editorial Cartoon.
"I still have no clue how that happened. I'm really excited to see all the great cartoons that student
cartoonists across North America are going to create for this contest."
